Assessment, Consultation, and Assessment Training Services

Medicinal Mindfulness offers clinical assessment, consultation, and supervision services from a transpersonal, psychedelic, and clinical perspective. We are here to offer assessments in a way that is consistent with DSM-5 diagnoses, valid, and reliable measures while not pathologizing our clients. We are skilled at holding space for our clients in a way that honors their inner healing intelligence and the wisdom in uncomfortable experiences, even crises. For this reason, we are set apart from traditional psychological services and other up-and-coming Psychedelic Therapy centers. Depending on your need, we use a variety of evidence-based assessment tools combined with informal and relational screening procedures to obtain the most clear and accurate picture of your mental health. With this, we then provide you with a customized set of treatment recommendations.

For Clients

Why might you be seeking these services? There are many reasons. You might be unclear about what type of therapist to look for or what type of therapy would be most beneficial for you. You might be wondering why the treatment you have engaged in hasn’t been helping, and if you need to get more clear on what the problems are. You may have been given several diagnoses throughout your life and you want to know which ones are still present or accurate for you. You may be wondering if psychedelics would be appropriate for you at this time. You may be wanting to work with a professional who is trained in clinical assessments, but who is not going to view you as pathologically, sick, or diseased—and someone who will view you holistically and honor your inner healing intelligence.

 Services offered:

Assessment for specific issues/diagnoses 

  • $600 Flat Rate – Typically a 2 hour session with report to assess specific disorders, including Mood, Anxiety, Psychosis, Personality issues and Trauma

Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment with Brief Report 

  • $1,200 Flat Rate – Typically a 3 hour session – Obtain an official diagnosis from an assessment specialist

Psychoeducation about specific issues/diagnoses 

  • $200/hour

Comprehensive Psychedelic Safety Assessment with Safety & Integration Planning

$400 Flat Rate – 90 minute safety planning session and referrals given in session or emailed after; includes a review of possible contraindications or reasons not to use psychedelic medicines, and recommendations on personal support networks, psychedelic harm reduction coaching, and readiness evaluation. 

Risk Assessments/Safety Planning/Referrals

  •  $400 Flat Rate – Typically 2 hours – Safety planning/referrals given in session or emailed after

 

For Providers, Therapists, Clinicians & Guides

Why might you be seeking these services or referring your clients to us for adjunct services? You may have received a referral for a client that you are unclear if you can adequately work with them given your scope of practice. You are unsure what is causing the symptoms your client is presenting with. For example, you are unsure if your client’s symptoms are due to trauma, or substances, or perhaps a personality disorder. You might be wondering if your client needs additional specialized therapy, but unsure what kind. You also may be needing clinical case consultation or supervision that is both highly clinical and also transpersonal, holistic, and does not pathologize your clients. You may be needing training and education on differential diagnosis or assessing for risk to self, others, or grave disability.

Full Diagnostic Assessment

  • $1,200 Flat Rate – Typically a 3 hour Interview with Report – Obtain an official diagnosis from an assessment specialist

Individual Training and Clinical Case Consultations

  • Training and Education in Risk Assessment 
  • Training and education in differential diagnosis specific to your needs
  • Individual Clinical Case Consultation
  • $200/hour
