Aidan LondonAidan London, MA, LPC, CIIP

Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified International Integrative Psychotherapist, Psychedelic Therapist

Aidan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University (2015). Early in his career, Aidan trained with the International Integrative Psychotherapy Association and became certified as an Integrative Psychotherapist. In this therapeutic approach, “integrative” meant both an integration of specific theory, allowing him to attune to others and stay in contact wherever you might be available in a particular session. It also meant “integrative” in the sense of re-integrating parts of the self that have been left behind in an effort to adapt to previous relationships. His training in the Transpersonal field and his integrative lens of psychotherapy has been an important foundation to build on in doing the transformational work involved in psychedelic assisted therapy and psychedelic integration work.

Aidan’s therapeutic philosophy centers around what drove him towards this type of work. In essence, his purpose in working with you is to help you grow as an individual to feel more connected to the world around you as well as with yourself. Aidan’s journey in life as a transgender man has taught him the importance of a growth mindset and how allowing yourself to change and adapt to new situations can open the door for more peace and acceptance and connection in your life.

Aidan began his psychedelic assisted therapy training with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness and has completed advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy with MM. Aidan also holds a certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies from Naropa University (2022), which included training in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy through the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). He has also trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy at the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI).

Whether directly or indirectly, Aidan believes we are each telling the story of what has happened to us in relationships. Some of what we have learned in relationships becomes a pattern or coping style, and some of what we have learned becomes a deeper belief about ourselves. Most often, these patterns and beliefs begin to get in the way of the contact we desire in relationships. His excitement in working with psychedelics in a therapeutic setting lies in their deep potential to help you in uncovering and understanding your story, to heal old wounds, to let go of old beliefs that are no longer serving you, and to help you contact and develop the richness in relationship you might be looking for.

When Aidan is not in the office, he’s usually hiking trails in his neighborhood and enjoying the camaraderie and challenges of serving on the volunteer fire department in the small mountain community where he lives.
