Amy Panameno
Amy Panameno is an Apprentice Psychedelic Guide specializing in cannabis and psilocybin-assisted therapy at the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness. She has completed advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Guiding and Psilocybin Support Services through the Center’s program, as well as a year-long apprenticeship with Myth, Art, and Medicine, MM’s psilocybin women’s retreat.
Amy has had a passion for facilitating meaningful connections between people and plant allies since 2012 – initially by providing safe access to San Francisco’s medical cannabis community under California’s Compassionate Use Act, and more recently as a presenter at gatherings such as Lucidity Festival and Arise, offering education on conscious cannabis use and practices for cultivating reciprocal relationships with plant medicines.
Amy naturally gravitates toward embodied ritual and ceremony in her work. Her approach is rooted in curiosity, care and communal responsibility. She feels especially called to support women, POC, LGBTQ+ individuals, those new to psychedelic experiences, and those seeking to transform their long-standing relationships with plant medicines.
