    (He/Him)

Daryck’s philosophic and spiritual journey started in his high school years when he became curious about the nature of life and existence, cutting his teeth on Greek and Vedic philosophy. It wasn’t until college, while earning his undergraduate degree in philosophy, that his spiritual and philosophic life burst open with his first experience with mushrooms, which was profound and deep. This was an inflection point, being one of the most trajectory changing moments and the catalyst to his present path and place in life. Daryck quickly learned about the unseen worlds and the value that psychedelics can bring about through intentional and mindful use. He graduated from the University of Denver in 2011 with a BA in Philosophy. Shortly after college, Daryck became interested in how he could share what he has learned in the psychedelic milieu with others to help them grow and become more whole. Due to this interest, Daryck has done extensive research on the multifaceted and levels of use and the positive and therapeutic effects that can be garnered, learning about clinical modalities, indigenous practices, and ancient philosophies that span the religious, spiritual, sacred, and esoteric.

Having practiced guiding, harm reduction, and intentional use as a legacy practitioner since 2018, Daryck has also successfully completed advanced training with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness, including Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Guiding, Psilocybin Support Services, and Harm Reduction taught by advanced practitioners, and is versed in working with a wide array of medicines. Daryck is also studying at Naropa University, striving towards a Masters in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling.

Exploring and employing varieties of paradigms and modalities, he approaches the work through an open embracing and critical philosophic lens, suitably using a balance of critical thought and intuition to help explore, process, and integrate experiences and apply appropriate insights and learned lessons into the proper modes and aspects of life. Compassion, grace, balance, and curiosity are virtues of his practice. Daryck identifies as part of the BIPOC community as well as an LGBTQIA ally and advocate, being focused on understanding, equality and equity for all.

Spiritual Statement:

Daryck sees existence as the Sacred Mystery; The Grand Paradox. As such, Daryck is non-dogmatic in his philosophic/spiritual approach, keeping a vastly open mind while also using deep and critical discernment. Spirituality, psychedelics, and philosophy are inextricably linked and connected in Daryck’s mind, as the spiritual is that which connects to existence, psychedelics open our minds, hearts and souls, and philosophy explores the “big” questions of the experience we call life.

Daryck uses this custom modality to explore himself and existence. It is also used to bridge the gap in one’s inner being, helping others to understand and deeply realize what they need to for themselves. As such, Daryck is ready to engage in any and all spiritual faiths and practices in order to help journeyers get what they need.
