MSW, Natural Medicine Facilitator In Training
Trauma Informed RYT500
I am a Colorado Licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator in Training and hold a Master of Social Work degree, with over twenty years of experience supporting children and families in social work and community-based roles. My work integrates trauma-informed facilitation, nervous system–centered support, and body-based practices to create steady, attuned containers for healing and personal transformation.
I have practiced yoga for nearly two decades, with specialized training in trauma-informed approaches, nervous system regulation, and somatic resourcing. My education at Naropa University continues to inform an integrative, contemplative lens that bridges psychology, embodiment, and spiritual inquiry in grounded and accessible ways.
My work is particularly attuned to individuals navigating childhood sexual trauma, relational and attachment wounds, anxiety rooted in survival patterns, and midlife transitions. I also support those drawn to psychedelic work as a pathway for emotional clarity, creative expansion, and deeper self-understanding. I approach medicine work as a collaborative process grounded in safety, consent, and integration — honoring both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of these experiences.
My commitment to this work is also personal. My own healing journey following early childhood abuse, addiction, and seasons of disconnection has shaped the steadiness and compassion I bring to this practice. These lived experiences allow me to meet others with humility and trust in the resilience within each person.
I approach this work with reverence for the Indigenous and ancestral lineages of yoga, ceremony, and plant medicine, and a commitment to integrity and right relationship.
Outside of facilitation, I spend time in nature and with my children, who continue to be among my greatest teachers. I am also a photographer and poet at heart — threads that shape how I listen, witness, and hold space with curiosity, depth, and respect for each person’s unfolding process.
