Melody Panice, BA

Clinical Program Manager

“A melody is a pleasing arrangement of sounds.”- Merriam-Webster

Melody is a cycle-breaker and an advocate for radical compassion. As the Clinical Program Manager at the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness, she guides clients in getting the support they seek and helps our practitioners to provide the services offered to the best of their abilities. She understands very well the vulnerability as well as the bravery involved in seeking out therapy, and draws on her own life experience in this role with our clinic. As a highly-sensitive human being originally born into a harsh environment, Melody has been on a many-years journey of unwinding from the harmful coping and self-relating skills that had once helped her to survive. She first came to this work pursuing healing for the sake of her 3 children, but she came to find that it was for the sake of herself most of all. It is from this authentic place of compassion for herself and others that she serves our clients.

Melody graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2001, and trained with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness back in 2014. She whole-heartedly worked as a full-time mother for 13 years before working as a paraeducator and then as an accounting clerk, leading up to her joining our team. Melody identifies as an ally to the LGBTQ, BIPOC, and neurodiversity communities.

Melody is thrilled to be a part of the team at the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness! She truly believes in the transformative potential of the services offered here and feels honored to support such a qualified, intuitive team of gifted practitioners. She knows that healing is possible because she has experienced it herself (& continues to).
