Kristen specializes in working with clients living with depression, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety and PTSD from a soul and somatic based perspective. She creates space to turn toward the pain of life in order to explore the deeper layers of who you are and who you are becoming. Trained as an end-of-life and crisis chaplain, Kristen also specializes in Psychedelic Therapy for End-of-Life and is committed to returning death to its sacred place in life.

Lover of ceremony and forever a student of the unseen world, Kristen was raised Catholic and joined an evangelical Christian community as a teenager before surrendering into the guidance of Buddhism and the practice of Yoga as a young adult. She currently finds connection and truth through the earth-based practices of her ancestors and the guidance of spirit and song. She welcomes your path just as it is. Kristen identifies as a white, cis-gendered, queer and temporarily able-bodied who grew up with class privilege. Kristen invites a heart-centered exploration of systems of oppression into healing journeys knowing that the work of collective liberation is both external and internal and that all of us – need all of us – to be free.

Religious Statement

Psychedelic therapy is often inherently spiritual, mystical, and numinous in nature for many of my clients and I am professionally trained to navigate these experiences in a way that affirms and uplifts your agency on the path.

My therapeutic approach is guided by the intelligence of the plant or sacred medicine teacher in concert with your inner healing intelligence and my knowledge and skill as a psychedelic therapist.
I listen for the language of your longing, and meet you there. As a somatically-oriented practitioner, I invite you into an exploration of the wisdom of your body and your intuition to guide the way. I introduce you to mindfulness practices, ceremony, ritual and earth-based prayer, and with your consent weave these elements into our work together. Given my professional training and experience, I speak a number of spiritual and religious languages and meet you where and how you make meaning in this life.

My personal spiritual practices are at the root of it all. I commit to cultivating my relationship to plant medicine and psychedelic medicine through safe and sacred journeywork practices. I work to tend to my relationship with Spirit and my well ancestors – of blood and affinity – and to the Earth herself, one of my greatest teachers. Nourishment looks like sitting still by a stream deep in the mountains and listening for the movement of that Great Mystery – and also sharing a meal around a wooden table and touching the hands of those that I love.
