RESILIENCE & HEALING IN A TURBULENT WORLD: KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHEDELIC THERAPY GROUP WITH DR. ALYSE POWER AND ALISON MCQUEEN

The Center for Medicinal Mindfulness strives to make psychedelic therapy as affordable and accessible as possible. Our psychedelic therapy groups reduce the cost by nearly half, as compared to individual therapy. They also call in one of the more important and healing resources on this planet– a sense of community connection and belonging. We love group medicine work so much, and are thrilled to be offering in-person groups again– for the first time since the pandemic began. Join Dr. Alyse Power and Alison McQueen for intramuscular ketamine-assisted sessions starting this spring.

What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy is a modality that combines the professional oversight of a medical doctor, the emotional support of psychotherapy and the medicinal effects of psychedelic ketamine. Ketamine serves as a powerful catalyst in unearthing unconscious material and then facilitating the exploration of this content through the unique perspective provided by a non-ordinary state of consciousness. This journey is undertaken all the while in the presence of a skilled psychotherapist, geared towards guiding and supporting clients in deepening and integrating these experiences.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy may be right for you if:

  • You’re ready for some old, habituated patterns or addictions to change
  • You struggle with depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress
  • You are interested in depth work, spiritual experience, and personal exploration
  • You’ve been curious about psychedelics for some time, but want to try them in legal and supportive settings
  • You’ve tried traditional talk therapy and you want to go deeper
  • You’re curious about what’s possible for you if self-limiting beliefs are removed from the equation
  • You’re feeling lost, stuck or overwhelmed
  • Pandemic parenting has left you feeling depleted
  • You have core beliefs, about yourself, or the world, that you’re ready to let go of

Is it a safe treatment?
Yes. Ketamine-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy is a safe treatment when administered and supervised by a professional team of psychotherapists and medical personnel. To explore the extensive research being done on this modality, check out this page.

What is included?
This program includes a free discovery call, an individual preparation session, a group preparation session by zoom, two-day psychedelic intramuscular ketamine intensive in Boulder, two weekly integration sessions by zoom, and a final individual check-in.

Initial onboarding for new clients includes a full medical evaluation and safety assessment, and an initial individual preparation session.

Initial Investment: A one time onboarding fee of $500 includes a medical evaluation with Dr. Power and initial individual preparation session with Alison McQueen. Current MM clients can skip the medical evaluation if already completed, so the one time fee is reduced to $150 for the initial 45 minute preparation session. This investment qualifies our clients to attend all future cannabis-assisted and ketamine-assisted therapy groups and individual work.

Intensive Investment: $1500 for each 2-day 4hr/day Psychedelic Intramuscular Ketamine intensive for clinical concerns (in-person and in Boulder, CO). Includes a group preparation session (1.5hrs by zoom), two integration sessions (1.5hrs each by zoom), and an individual 30-minute post journey check-in. Group sizes are small and are limited to 6-9 participants.

Additional Information

Our Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships apply to the Group Intensives providing up to a 40% discount on the intensive. The medical eval and onboarding has already been reduced to the minimum financial investment we can offer.

One time or ongoing: For some people, one intensive is enough to initiate the next chapter in their lives, for some people it takes a few intensives. Others will want to attend ongoing sessions/intensives for additional transformation and growth. This is a monthly, ongoing healing and personal growth intensive. Clients are invited to come to as many 2-day intensives as they wish.

Location: Center for Medicinal Mindfulness – 75 Manhattan Drive, Suite 106, Boulder, CO 80303

Participants are required to have a designated driver after each of the intensive sessions (or walk to your room in the next door hotel). Currently, full covid vaccination is required, but this will be assessed on an ongoing basis.

Once the application is received, we will review and respond with an invite to the free discovery call.

Out of Town Clients are Encouraged to Apply
We have an agreement with the hotel that is next door to reduce lodging costs for out of town participants. The monthly group is designed to support attending in-person during a short visit to Boulder, with ongoing, online preparation and integration support.
