Professional Psychedelic Guide Training

From Vision to Vocation

For over a decade, the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness has been a leader in professional psychedelic guide training, offering rigorous, experiential education for those called to guide others through non-ordinary states of consciousness.

Since 2012, our programs have supported over 35 cohorts of students from around the world in developing skills-based and ethical facilitation and embodied presence required to guide psychedelic experiences with care, responsibility, and integrity. Our approach blends clinical insight, mindfulness-based frameworks, trauma-informed practice, and real-world experience across multiple psychedelic modalities.

Students seeking to work with regulated psilocybin mushrooms may complete all required training for Colorado licensure through Medicinal Mindfulness Academy, a licensed healing center with programs approved by Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Those pursuing a broader or non-licensure pathway may train through our long-established Psychedelic Sitters School, which offers professional education in psychedelic cannabis and ketamine guiding, along with safety, ethics, and harm-reduction training related to psilocybin mushrooms and DMT.

Across all pathways, our trainings are designed to support guides in moving from personal calling to professional practice with depth, discernment, and a strong foundation in ethical care.
